The Things We Choose
I started writing The Things We Choose a couple of years ago, like The Things We Treasure, it’s had an overhaul, a re-edit, some scenes added in, some scenes taken out, and it’s a much better story because of it.
It featured, Mothkin/Mothman, Saffron Crawford, who is left at the altar on his wedding day and Enya Wilder, the woman who acts as his stand-in. They accidentally get married and go through a journey of discovery together.
Here’s the proper blurb:
An office worker stuck in a life she never chose. A mothkin professor left at the altar.
An accidental marriage neither of them expected.
Enya never planned on getting married. Saffron never expected anyone to choose him again.
Falling in love was never part of their seven-day deal.
But the closer they grow, the harder it becomes to tell where the accident ends and the choice begins.
A spicy, heartwarming mothkin x human romance with an accidental marriage, a gentle touch-starved hero, chronic illness representation, open-door steam, and a happily ever after.
The Things We Choose is set to publish on 1st September and is the second of my three rapid-release books (after that, I’ll slow down to a normal pace because the books aren’t pre-written!)
